Meet the Doctor

Dr. Kirk Barron  was born and raised in the Saint Louis area. He began his undergraduate studies at Missouri State University, going on to complete his B.S. degree in Human Biology at Logan College of Chiropractic. In 2006, Dr. Barron completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, graduating with honors from Logan. After graduating, he worked in a family practice for almost 3 years.

In 2009, Dr. Barron started his practice, Barron Chiropractic, in Kirkwood, Missouri. His professional affiliations include the Missouri State Chiropractic Association, Logan College alumni association, Foundation for Wellness Education, Chiro Advance Services, and The Epicenter of Chiropractic. 


Dr. Barron is certified in six different adjusting techniques, as well as two soft tissue techniques.  


Dr. Barron's goal is to help people live a life of carefree ease, comfort, health, and prosperity through chiropractic wellness care. 

Dr. James Heisse  was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. He went to DeSmet Jesuit High School, and later went on to study Biology at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri. After graduating from Culver-Stockton, Dr. Heisse started his journey in Chiropractic at Logan University College of Chiropractic. Here he spent his last 8 months of chiropractic school training under Dr. Barron, at Barron Chiropractic. After graduating with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, he officially joined the Barron Chiropractic staff. 


Dr. Heisse is trained multiple treatment techniques; Diversified, Thompson, Activator, Logan Basic, and MDT. While at Logan, he also took myofascial and modality courses, training him to treat soft tissue injuries. 


In his down time, Dr. Heisse loves to hang out with his family, his girlfriend and their dog. He also played college volleyball, and although his competitive playing days are numbered he stays involved with coaching at the club level.


Dr Heisse hopes to give people relief from injuries, aches, pains and ailments. More importantly he wants everyone to benefit from the increased quality of health that chiropractic care can offer!
